Vision
Zolotonosha
- Located in Central Ukraine, a 2-hour drive from Kyiv
- Some 30 000 inhabitants
- Eight public schools and two technical schools.
- In 2021 the town became the center of the Zolotonosha united territorial community, with 7 towns and villages
- One of the biggest needs, challenges and areas of concern is the wellbeing of teenagers and families
- Four evangelical churches
- About 2% of the population is evangelical Christians
Team
Yura and his wife Nina have two children. Yura holds a bachelor’s degree in Missiology. Both he and his wife hold a bachelor’s degree in Family ministry. In 20089-2010 Yura and Nina served as missionaries in Tajikistan, working with students. From 2015 to 2020 Yura worked as a Program Director at Christian Camp “Maximum”. For the last two years he also has served as the associate pastor in Drabiv Church.
January 10, 2021 was the official opening day of our church. Six families gathered then. There are 7 people in our core team and some 20 people are ready to help and support us. Our team has visited M4 training events and we will start the M4 Team Process soon.
Plan
In the next 12 months
- Form a strong team which together grows spiritually and in leadership skills. Each leader is ready to take responsibility
- Baptize first 5 people in our church
- Impact 70 families through Christian Football Club for kids “Sport Kids Zolo”
- Organize our first Teenagers Camp
- Start Kids Club and run first Adventure Camp in our church to 20 new families in our community
Have 4 home groups
In the near future
We see ourselves as a local church:
- Filled with young families and children
- Growing quantitatively and qualitatively
- With a strong team of leaders, that can identify new leaders and unite other leaders
- Over 1000 families have been/ are impacted through our Christian Football Club for children “Sport Kids Zolo”. There are 4 coaches who impact kids’ life by their own example and Bible lessons
- With a strong children and teens’ ministry, which reaches and brings to our church some 10 families every year
- With 6-8 home groups that are constantly open to new people
- With 5-15 baptisms every year

I recommend this team – it has a great potential, clearly defined strategy and ability, by God’s grace, to implement it. The city of Zolotonosha needs another Gospel-centered church.
